Responsibilities of Social Media Manager
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and achieve marketing objectives across multiple platforms.
- Create and curate engaging content, including text posts, images, videos, and interactive elements, that resonates with target audiences and aligns with brand voice, messaging, and values.
- Manage social media calendars, scheduling posts, monitoring activity, and responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement paid social advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, ad creative development, and performance tracking.
- Monitor social media trends, best practices, and platform updates, staying informed about emerging technologies and opportunities to innovate and optimize social media efforts.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to assess campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and inform future strategies.
- Foster relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and community members, leveraging partnerships and user generated content to amplify brand reach and engagement.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, privacy policies, and ethical guidelines related to social media marketing.
- Ensuring compliance and ethical conduct in all social media activities.
Requirements of Social Media Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in social media marketing are a plus.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as a social media manager or digital marketing specialist.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and engage audiences across different channels and platforms.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising platforms, such as Buffer, Google Analytics, and Facebook Ads Manager.
- Creative thinking and problem solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment, with a high level of organization.
- Attention to detail, and time management skills.
