Job Description

The Vehicle Mechanic (Automotive) at Juma Al Majid Holding Group will be responsible to diagnose, repair and maintain various vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for customers while adhering to industry standards and regulation. Responsibilities of Vehicle Mechanic (Automotive)

  • Perform allocated repairs in accordance with Manufacturer’s repair procedures to obtain high quality repairs.
  • Avoid waste of time to improve productivity.
  • Proper use of tools, equipments & shop manuals to keep in good condition.
  • Attend training & self study to improve skills & product knowledge.
  • Feedback to supervisor/foreman additional repair required to get customer/insurance approval.
  • Maintain cleanliness of working area to assure a health & safe working environment.
  • Follow vehicle’s cleanliness cautions to obtain customer satisfaction.
  • Work with other workshop and Service Advisors colleagues to provide excellent customer service, share best practice.
  • Overhauls, repairs and re-assembles complex mechanical components as needed.
  • Ensure that the work meets the highest possible standard and completes it within agreed timescales.

Requirements for Role of Vehicle Mechanic (Automotive)

  • High School graduate or technical education in automotive field.
  • 3 years of previous work experience in automobiles’ mechanical repair field.

Skills Desired

  • Physically fit & hard worker. Responsible & reliable.
