Job Description

BEAM American curriculum school, American School of Creative Science (ASCS) is looking for a creative, passionate and outstanding Physics & Calculus Teacher who value professional development opportunities and a good work life balance. They expect their Teachers to deliver high quality lessons while successfully nurturing and inspiring their students. The selected candidate is responsible to create and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to assess student understanding. Provide timely feedback and use various grading methods to accurately measure student progress.

Responsibilities of Physics & Calculus Teacher

  • To support, observe and record the progress of their class. Plan lessons in line with School and Curricula objectives, with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning.
  • To plan curricula, to cover a broad range of subjects offered, keep up to date with subject specific knowledge and understanding according to curriculum requirements.

Job Requirements of Physics & Calculus Teacher

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related subjects .
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the US Common Core Curriculum.
  • With Teaching / Education Qualification (PGCE, QTS).

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of Data Disaggregation, Analysis and Differentiation for Students.
  • Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
  • A proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results through ensuring high quality teaching and learning.
  • The ability to use data effectively, to monitor and enhance student progress.
