Job Description
Hotels/Restaurant industry is currently seeking dedicated and detail oriented individuals to join their team as Housekeeping Associates. As a vital part of their operations, Housekeeping Associates play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a comfortable environment for their guests.
Responsibilities of Housekeeping Associates
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, and public areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing assistance and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, notifying supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members and departments to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest service at all times.
Requirements of Housekeeping Associates
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience of 1-2 years in housekeeping or related field preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
