Job Description
Senior Chef de at Partie Rixos Premium Saadiyat Accor Abu Dhabi is responsible to assist in leading and managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation in line with the hotel’s guidelines and customer expectations.
Responsibilities of Senior Chef de Partie
- Supervising, coordinating and participating in the preparation of mise en place cooking for all F&B outlets.
- Controls freshness, preparation techniques and storage of goods used.
- To check Demi Chefs / Commis Chefs on his/her section: e.g. regarding personal hygiene.
- To assist the Executive Sous Chef and / or the Executive Chef in composing new recipes and menu ideas.
- Order and turnover of products in his section through daily inventory lists.
- Controls cooking procedures, portioning, garnishing and presentation of all dishes.
- Allocates different tasks according to the mise place list.
- To consistently provide and maintain the highest standard of guest care and service.
- To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.
Requirements of Senior Chef de Partie
- Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs professional course.
- 2-4 years of Experience in the similar area.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Fluent in English (A foreign language will be an advantage).
- Profile with Master in one of the recognized hospitality schools is a plus.
- Ability to focus, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
