Job Description
As a Security System Operator at IIQAF Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of their institute. You will be responsible for monitoring and operating their state of the art security systems, as well as providing support to their security team. Your diligence and attention to detail will ensure the protection of their facilities, staff and guests.
Duties of Security System Operator
- Monitor and operate the institute’s security systems including CCTV cameras, alarms and access control systems.
- Conduct routine checks and inspections of security equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Respond to and investigate security alarms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all security related activities, incidents and equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the institute to identify any potential security vulnerabilities.
- Assist with the training of new security personnel on security system operations.
- Communicate effectively with the security team and management regarding any security concerns or incidents.
Requirements of Security System Operator
- Knowledge of security systems such as CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
- 1 year of proven experience in a security system operator or related role.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
