Job Description

There is a new job opening of Civil Engineer at دائرة البلدية والتخطيط – عجمان (Municipality & Planning Department Ajman) on Kawader. The job is for UAE Nationals only. Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman was established in 1968, by the Ruler of Ajman. Under the direction of His Highness, the department began practicing its entrusted responsibilities in the field of development and services with a limited number of staff . But this humble beginning of modern scientific planning penetrated in the city to provide all citizens with all modern requirements. Their municipality services include Engineering Affairs Services, Public Health & Environment services, Lease Regulation Services and other Smart Services.

Role of a Civil Engineer

This role requires planning and managing maintenance and construction projects, such as roads or buildings to improve the community.

Responsibilities of a Civil Engineer

  • Viewing the latest studies of structurally developed building systems and make recommendations for their use.
  • Reviewing the construction drawings for municipal projects.
  • Viewing the report of monitored problems related to contracting companies and consulting offices.
  • Examining the new construction systems submitted by the specialized structural companies and making recommendations or removing them by rejecting them.
  • Carrying out any other tasks related to the job as required by the need of the work.

What you will do

  • Review government regulations and ordinances.
  • Develop detailed designs.
  • Prepare and implement project plans.
  • Do feasibility assessments and site inspections.
  • Research and provide estimates for projects.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: Fresh Graduate
