The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations, ensuring that goods move from suppliers to customers efficiently and cost-effectively. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing transportation schedules, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The Logistic Coordinator will also handle documentation, liaise with vendors, and solve logistics-related issues.
Key Responsibilities of Logistic Coordinator
- Arrange and monitor the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers. Ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time.
- Track inventory levels, oversee warehousing operations, and ensure accurate stock records.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to manage schedules, negotiate rates, and resolve any issues.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and customs documentation.
- Ensure all shipments comply with local, national, and international regulations, including customs and export requirements.
- Address and resolve any issues related to logistics, such as delivery delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Generate regular reports on logistics performance, including shipment status, inventory levels, and cost analysis.
- Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed about the status of their shipments and addressing any concerns.
Requirements of Logistic Coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
