Responsibilities Of Natural Gas Procurement Specialist
- Market Analytics: Conduct market analysis to understand trends and leverage information for procurement strategy development.
- Energy Landscape Insights: Develop insights on Energy landscape including potential supplies / reserves for the UAE (from domestic and imported sources).
- Demand Forecasting: Conduct demand forecasting for Natural Gas business unit utilizing historical sales data and emerging trends.
- Support for Negotiations: Strategically source natural gas and related products by supporting negotiations of purchase agreements and contracts with suppliers.
- Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Demand Coordination: Collaborate with the planning and operations teams to forecast demand and ensure a consistent supply chain.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and present reports on market conditions and procurement outcomes to senior management.
- Compliance: Work closely with the legal department.
- Ensure that all contracts and dealings comply with national and international law.
- Industry Engagements: Participate in industry conferences and workshops to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the natural gas market.
Minimum Requirements
