Job Description

Abu Dhabi Ports presently has a job opening for desirous candidates for the position of a Senior Logistics Officer to join their Logistics Unit. Job Purpose of A Senior Logistics Officer

  • Achieve the vision of Abu Dhabi ports and organization’s business objectives.
  • The Logistics Officer will be the lead point of contact for all key clients matters.
  • Act as clients service officer, fulfilling / anticipating the clients needs.

Your Job Duties As A Senior Logistics Officer At Abu Dhabi Ports

  • Operating and coordinating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned account.
  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship with the clients and ADPL.
  • Develops and implements SOP’s based on clients required protocols and provides visibility to the performance against these standards.
  • Liaise and communicate the clients issues and complaints with ADPL Management.
  • Provides monthly / weekly demand planning data requirements based on SOH / inventory volume to ADPL.
  • Provides daily inventory management reporting to the client and ADPL Management.
  • Develop a complete understanding of the clients needs and provide a weekly progress report on all activities.
  • Agree a continuous improvement action plan with the clients to exceed service delivery.
  • Providing performance management data to the client (daily / weekly / monthly).
  • Manage a team consisting of CSRs, MHE operators and warehouse tallies and operatives.
  • Works closely with clients team members and managers, ADPL operations teams and Control Tower (CT) dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of communications and end result performance.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • Bachelor / Masters degree preferably in Logistics.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics at Supervisory Level.

Skills Desired

  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Self motivated / self directed and good problem solver.
  • Excellent relationship skills.
