As a Graduate Architect in Rail at AECOM in Ubora Tower, Level 43. Al Abraj St. Business Bay, Dubai, UAE, candidate will collaborate with senior team members on diverse projects across all design and construction stages. Candidate will play a vital role from day one, contributing to important and challenging projects. Candidates’ tasks will vary daily, requiring problem solving skills and technical expertise. Responsibilities include conceptual design preparation, design development, technical delivery, and contributing to “Design Excellence” in project delivery. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 5000-12000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Graduate Architect
- Assist in preparing conceptual design work and project presentations.
- Support design development of project proposals and feasibility studies.
- Contribute to technical delivery, including working drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Enhance “Design Excellence” through qualified project delivery.
- Prepare and present plans to governing and permitting authorities for land use, zoning, and permit approvals.
- Carry out assignments independently in alignment with project objectives and professional standards.
Requirements for Role of Graduate Architect
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
- Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
- If you hold a Master’s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor’s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
- Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for professional-level roles instead.
- Experience with BIM, Revit, and InDesign is advantageous.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Preferably pursuing or having obtained RIBA Part 3 / Registered Architect status.
- Strong spatial and technical abilities with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in both hand drawing and computer graphics.
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
