Job Description

United Arab Bank is looking to hire suitably skilled and devoted candidate for role of Trade & Cash Management Sales Manager. This role is under WB Global Transaction Banking Sales & Solutions with core responsibility of client management for sales & advisory under GTB. The candidate should be sales oriented, with extensive market knowledge & experience in Trade, Supply chain, Cash Management and GTB related products. The job will be to cover Wholesale banking clients for Trade and Cash management products across all segments in WB

Responsibilities of Trade & Cash Management Sales Manager

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive trade finance & Cash Management sales, focusing on increasing unfunded utilization and all related incomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their GTB Products needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the bank’s GTB Product client base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as risk management, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth execution of related transactions.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting trade finance & Cash Management Products
  • Provide expertise and guidance on international trade transactions, including letters of credit, trade finance instruments, and structured products.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, tracking progress and implementing adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing the bank’s GTB products and services.
  • Assess risk associated with related transactions and work towards minimizing potential exposure.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and industry best practices in trade finance to enhance the bank’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new products that align with market demand.
  • Contribute to the overall revenue growth of the bank by actively promoting and cross-selling various banking products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Requirements of Trade & Cash Management Sales Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • GTB product(s) Certifications
  • 10 years’ experience in GTB Products.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Bi-lingual candidates with effective communication skill in both English &Arabic will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques/concepts.
  • Excellent knowledge of customer base, products and services and industry practices.
  • Highly effective negotiations and influencing skills.
