NMC Healthcare is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the job opening of Senior PMO (Project Management Office) Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Purpose of PMO Manager

At NMC Healthcare UAE (Abu Dhabi), the job of a Senior PMO (Project Management Office) Manager is to Develop, Implement, and Manager project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to deliver complex projects within scope, on time, and within budget.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the VP PMO in driving strategic initiatives, process improvement, and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project priorities and objectives.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure implementation of required projects to facilitate delivery of high-quality care, effective financial management, and efficient use of resources.

What you’ll do as Senior PMO Manager

  • Manage a Portfolio of projects across the Organization, including Clinical, Operational, people related and IT projects.
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and issues to Executive Leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster Collaboration, Communication, and Transparency.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement in Project Management processes and practices.
  • Develop and Implement change management strategies to ensure Successful adoption of new processes and initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver Project Management Training and Coaching to team members and Stakeholders.
  • Oversee, direct and provide Guidance to the hospital leadership team in the Development and Execution of operational plans, including Annual Budgets, Resource Allocation, and Capital Expenditures.
  • Monitor performance metrics and develop strategies to improve Operational Efficiency and Patient Satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all Regulatory Requirements and Standards of practice.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a high level of performance and engagement.

Essential Requirements

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Healthcare Operations Management.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience with managing a large, complex organization and leading change initiatives.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Healthcare Operations, including Clinical and Non-clinical functions, Financial Management, and Regulatory and Accreditation requirements.
  • Strong change management and project management skills along with experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability to changing priorities and needs in a Dynamic Healthcare Environment.
  • High Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast paced, Multi-cultural, Multi-stakeholder large Corporate Environment.
