The Talent Acquisition & Attraction Partner at Maersk in Dubai will be responsible for on-time delivery of talent to the business by effective utilization of sourcing strategies. This is a mid level, full time role. For this role salary ranges from 10000 AED 20000 AED which may be slightly vary during interview process.
Duties of Talent Acquisition & Attraction Partner
- Building trusted partnerships with business and HR stakeholders; understand and cater to the hiring needs, capabilities and knowledge requirements & gaps.
- Lead the delivery of a seamless recruitment process to the organization; effectively contributing to the process improvement measures essential for future HR transformations.
- Developing and nurture potential leads through relevant hiring communities and events.
- Generating brand recall for Maersk as an Employer of Choice.
- Advocate and champion diversity and university hiring initiatives to enable Maersk to achieve its diversity ambition.
- Talent Advisor to the business on talent demographics, market and competitor intelligence.
- Emiratization and university relations focal.
- Oversees the development and continuous improvement of strategic nationalization program.
- Collaborates with senior management to develop and disseminate appropriate Emiratization policies and procedures, and advises internal stakeholders on the proper application of relevant policies and procedures.
- Participates in the review of regulations, policies and procedures to ensure that any barriers for UAE National employment are identified and reduced or removed.
- Serves as an advisor on regular and ad hoc reviews of HR programs, including compensation and rewards, job evaluation, and graduate recruitment programs.
- Works closely with the HR and People leaders to ensure that UAE National recruitment and development programs are prioritizet.
- Sets nationalization targets and works with senior management to identify positions and departments to be filled exclusively with UAE Nationals.
- Collaborates with Leadership team to develop programs that encourage the recruitment of UAE Nationals.
- Advises on UAE National employee relations issues.
- Develops and maintains accurate records, reports and documentation pertaining to Emiratization-related initiatives.
- Leads the organization of Emiratization campaigns and events within the community as required.
- Builds and maintains relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Produces metrics and reporting analysis for senior management as required.
- Keeps abreast of developments in the field by engaging in professional development activities.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role of Talent Acquisition & Attraction Partner are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Human Resources, or other relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, out of which 3 years in Talent Acquisition and Attraction.
- Previous experience strategically developing and or executing nationalization programs.
Skills Desired
- Knowledge of computer literacy and demonstrated experience working with sophisticated HR ERP platforms.
- Current knowledge of industry practices, trends, and issues.
- Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership skills as exhibited by experience in effectively leading senior stakeholders.
- Work experience within a multi-cultural environment a plus.
- Knowledge of manpower planning, organizational design is desirable.
- Interviewing skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
