Nowadays, Transguard Group has an opening for interested candidates for the position of a Technical Support Engineer for their trusted client to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Job Purpose of A Technical Support Engineer

Provide technical assistance and support to ensure smooth operation of IT systems.

Your Job Tasks As A Technical Support Engineer

  • Support and implement computer network, including LANs, WANs and other data communication systems.
  • Install and configure network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, fire walls and wireless access points.
  • Managing Incident & Service Request Level 1, provide First and second level of support.
  • Managing Computer hardware plat forms, Helpdesk level 1 & 2 support, IT Assets (CMDB &CI) MGMT, Desktop administration task.
  • Monitor and trouble shoot network performance, including network congestion, connectivity issues and security threats.
  • Manage network related projects, including upgrades, migrations and expansions.
  • Repairing hardware problems, software issues and net working problems.
  • Assets recording (New & updates) time reports for services desk items.
  • Regular site visit to all client sites.
  • Providing technical support on site or via remote access systems.
  • Regular reporting to line Manager and Perform other duties as asked by line Manager.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years in Operating Systems support, end user network or device troubleshooting & support.
  • Must have extensive Office 365 experience, all applications, with administration exposure.
  • Must have experience in Cloud, Data Center Management experience, VMware experience.

Lingual Skills

  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
