Talabat is looking for Director of Communications who leads like a pro and can handle tricky situations with total confidence. The ideal candidate should be a strategic operator, able to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of communications without blinking, appreciates culture of being real, bringing a genuine passion for connecting with diverse audiences and keeping their messaging fresh and relatable. This is a senior level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 25000 AED to 50000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.
Responsibilities of Director of Communications
- Craft and execute Talabat’s communication strategy throughout the MENA region.
- Collaborate with top-level management and stakeholders to align communication strategies with the company’s business goals.
- Take the reins of our regional communications team, offering strategic direction, mentorship, and fostering team growth.
- Drive the creation of communication assets and content to achieve local market objectives.
- Collaborate closely with talabat’s brand and marketing teams for a consistent brand voice across all channels.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance of all communication materials with relevant regulations through collaboration with talabat’s legal team.
- Play a pivotal role in crisis communications, providing strategic direction and content.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.
Elgibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for the role of a Director of Communications are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in crisis management and issues management.
Skills Desired
- Solid track record of leading communications in the MENA GCC region, with relevant experience in the Arabic markets.
- Proven ability to create engaging and authentic communication strategies with limited resources.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams across talabat markets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the MENA region.
