Role of Research Assistant

Conduct and Support Research projects, Analyse results and generate original ideas. Assist in the supervision of student projects, Development of student research skills and Assessment of student knowledge in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy and procedures.

Responsibilities of Research Assistant

• Research Assistant Medical Imaging will perform diagnostic and predictive models of various diseases.
• He will apply Conventional and deep learning approaches to demographic, environmental and multimodal medical data.
• Perform manual segmentation of brain, lung and pancreas medical images.
• Conduct physiological and psychological testing of the examinees.
• Perform post-processing of the MRI and CT findings.
• Describe and justify results of statistical analysis.
• Discuss the study results with recent literature.

Requirements

• Graduate in Neuroscience / Medical Imaging Technology.
• Masters in Neurology / Medical Imaging is preferable.
• Experience in conducting medical and/or biological studies.

Knowledge & Skills

Research Assistant Medical Imaging should have

• The ability to analyze and interpret CT and MRI images and other scientific data.
• Basic knowledge of medical and biological statistics.
• Good writing skills in Academic English.
• Communicate effectively with health care professionals.
• Communicate fluently in English language.
• Preparing Health care / hospital statistics.
