Job Description

Iranian Hospital Dubai is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant in UAE. The applicants are required to possess DHA practicing license. Interested candidates, both UAE Nationals and expats residing in UAE can make use of this amazing opportunity to work at one of the oldest hospitals in Dubai.

Purpose of Emergency Medicine Consultant

EM Consultant is responsible for ensuring proper care of patients in emergency department of the hospital. The role person will ensure proper management of ED patient groups and critical incident investigation.

Duties of Emergency Medicine Consultant

  • Provide input in serious emergency cases as a Senior member of the team.
  • Analyse the patient management and protocols and give advice on improvement of standards.
  • Provide direct clinical care to the patients.
  • Supervise and support the trainees / residents of EM and other specialties.
  • Be present at the hospital within routine working hours and agree to be on call in case of extreme emergencies.
  • Responsible for setting standards of professional and clinical practice in Emergency Department.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in medicine from a recognized medical school.
  • 4 years Residency in emergency medicine.
  • 3-5 years experience as consultant in EM.
