Your Job Duties As A Team Leader At Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence Dubai (UAE)
- Supervise all line colleagues within the dept ensuring that the correct standards and method of work are maintained.
- Assist the Outlet / Asst Outlet Manager in running a smooth and efficient operation of the outlet.
- Communicate to Outlet / Asst Outlet manager every relevant information pertaining colleagues welfare or guests relations.
- Assists guests before, during and after operational hours.
- Build a personal but professional relation with regular guests to increase loyalty.
- Help Outlet / Asst Outlet manager in producing and implementing monthly or yearly training plans.
- Assess training needs of all subordinate colleagues.
- Monitor & analyze colleagues performances and report them to manager in order to tailor training plans.
- Train, coach and supervise newly employed colleagues and cross trainees.
- Is always informed about the daily, weekly or monthly plans such as events, promotions and bookings in Outlet.
What You’ll Do More As A Team Leader
- Ensure the smooth running of restaurant operation.
- Supervise subordinates maintaining the standards and method of service of the property, leading and coaching them by example.
- Performs routine checks on hygiene, cleanliness and functionality of general operational equipment’s, and reports any problem related to the dept concerned and or to the Outlet / Asst Outlet Manager.
- Responsible for monthly or quarterly inventories.
- Coordinates and liaises with other dept for daily requirements or when necessary.
- Studies, evaluates and suggests improvements for operational procedures.
- Supervises daily opening and closing procedures.
- Participates actively in daily, weekly or monthly briefings and meetings and communicate all relevant information to manager and colleagues.
- Give and promote feedback to and from colleagues.
Eligibility Criteria?
Qualification
- High School Diploma.
Experience
- 1 year of previous experience in similar role or capacity.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Handling guest complaints at highest service levels.
- Dealing with high profile guests.
- Knowledge of Dubai.
