Job Description

As a member of Nord Anglia Education growing Primary team Primary Teacher KS2, you will contribute to the development of a world class Primary School section. You will work closely alongside Primary colleagues to create an outstanding environment which will ensure their school offers the very best international experience for students, delivering learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom to an outstanding level for their students. Outside of the classroom, the role of a founding member of the Primary team requires an empathy and understanding of private education in the overseas market, and a willingness to support the school in marketing, recruiting and retaining the student body as they continue to grow.

Responsibilities of Primary Teacher KS2

  • Inspire trust and confidence in students, colleagues and parents.
  • Engage and motivate students.
  • Continually strive to develop the quality of students’ learning.
  • Use the student tracking and monitoring process to advance student learning.
  • Contribute to the school improvement / development planning and promote the priorities of the school.

Job Requirements of Primary Teacher KS2

  • Bachelor Degree in Education.
  • Qualified teacher with 2 years’ experience.
  • Strong experience delivering the UK national curriculum.
  • Experience teaching KS2.
  • The ability to integrate technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Successfully teach students using technology in a virtual/hybrid environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
  • Good cross cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
  • Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
  • Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi functional tasks.
  • You will be an exceptional teacher who is passionate about their profession and seeks continuous improvement.
  • You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, for parents and for colleagues.
  • You will have strong experience of the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage.
  • You will be an excellent communicator who will work well with all members of the community.
  • You will have a strong focus on being the best teacher you can be and will also participate fully in the extra curricular aspects of school life.
