Duties of National Sales Manager
- Develop and implement national sales programs, including action plans for field sales.
- Ensure the successful attainment of the company’s sales targets across all regions.
- Maintain maximum sales volume, product mix, and selling price.
- Oversee regional sales performance.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans and forecasts to meet corporate objectives.
- Direct sales forecasting activities and establish performance goals.
- Analyze and manage divisional expenditures to meet budget requirements.
- Support the sales team in maintaining customer relationships, negotiating deals, and closing sales.
- Prepare regular sales pipeline reports to track sales volume and potential opportunities.
- Evaluate sales performance against programs, quotes, and plans to assess effectiveness.
- Assist in responding to requests for proposals, conducting client tours, and preparing pricing and sales presentations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key customer accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding the current customer base.
- Monitor customer credit status and take necessary actions when required.
Elgibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role of a National Sales Manager are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales marketing or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in similar role.
