Job Description
Hotels/Restaurant industry is seeking a creative and skilled individual to join their culinary team, taking the lead in creating delightful and visually appealing pastries and desserts. As a Pastry Chef you are responsible to take care of the daily pastry preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities.
Responsibilities of Pastry Chef
- Plan and prepare a variety of pastries and desserts.
- Develop new recipes and innovative pastry creations.
- Decorate pastries with precision and artistic flair.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of pastry products.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Train and supervise pastry staff as required.
- Adhere to health and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with other chefs for menu planning.
Requirements of Pastry Chef
- Culinary degree or relevant certification.
- Proven experience of less than 1 year in a similar role.
