A Stewarding Supervisor for Conrad Dubai is responsible for supervising the kitchen stewards to deliver an excellent Guest experience while supporting the overall back of house operations.
Responsibilities of Stewarding Supervisor
- Supervise the kitchen stewards to ensuring highest level of standards.
- Support the back of house team in training and development.
- Coordinate the daily pot-wash and dish wash responsibilities.
- Ensure back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed.
- Observe and handling hazardous substances and comply with all aspects of health and safety requirements.
- Report faults, misused or damaged equipment issues to the Execuitve Chef in coordination with the Engineering team, as required.
- Ensure the correct PPE is in place and guidelines are adhered to by all team members.
- Ensure machinery is operate properly, efficiently, safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Assist in the location, movement and storage of operational equipment.
- Assist in the stock take of equipment and other items as required.
- Assist the Chief Steward and Assistant Chief Steward throughout the daily operations.
Requirements of Stewarding Supervisor
- Diploma/certification in hospitality.
- 2 years previous experience in similar role.
- Previous experience as Stewarding Supervisor in a luxury hotel is a plus.

- Strong knowledge in stewarding.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on their own or in teams.
