Job Description

This full-time Chef de Partie – Banquets role at the iconic Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers is a proper high-volume banquet gig for a strong, experienced CDP who wants to plate for 1,000-cover weddings, VIP state dinners and massive corporate events in one of the capital’s most prestigious addresses. You’ll run your own section (hot, cold, tandoor or pastry), supervise commies and demi, control costs and keep the kitchen spotless under pressure. Pay is AED 5,500–7,000/month all-in + huge service charge (real take-home AED 9,000–13,000/month), single accommodation, annual flight, medical, 30–45 days leave, duty meals, Hilton worldwide staff rates. 6-day week, straight or split shifts. Perfect for a NVQ Level 3 CDP ready to step up in a 500+ room landmark hotel.

Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers is the 5-star luxury tower with 576 rooms, Observation Deck at 300, 12 restaurants and the biggest ballroom in Abu Dhabi. Part of Hilton, so proper training, global transfers and real promotion path.

Job Title

Responsibilities

  • Run your banquet section like a boss.
  • Plate high-volume, high-quality dishes.
  • Supervise commies & demi chefs.
  • Prep massive mise-en-place for 1,000+ covers.
  • Control portion and minimise waste.
  • Train juniors and enforce HACCP.
  • Keep station and walk-ins immaculate.

Requirements

Education

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent commercial cookery qualification.

Experience

Minimum 2 years as CDP or strong Demi in 5-star banquets.

Must Have

  • Fluent English.
  • Proven high-volume banquet experience.
  • Strong leadership & coaching skills.
  • Eligible to work in UAE.

Nice to Have

  • Previous Hilton or Conrad experience.
  • Arabic cuisine or tandoor skills a bonus.
