Job Description

Emirates Islamic Bank is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Senior Investment Advisor. The role holder is responsible to develop and implement a focused wealth Management advisory strategy for the corporate clients both on Company and Individual owner Level. The responsibilities also include to manage a corporate client base from a Wealth Management perspective in close co-operation with the Relationship Managers (RMs), marketing, tailoring and delivering solutions for clients in the investments space, and in a wider scope, promote cross sell opportunities in the Wholesale Banking area (Investments, treasury, takaful).

Responsibilities of Senior Investment Advisor

  • Support RMs by providing the necessary skills, knowledge and training to help drive Trade product sales
  • Support any training requirement in Trade services and back-office/operations area.
  • Work closely with a group of RMs to Manage and promote investment products (primary function).
  • Manage alongside the RM, client profiling, sales process for investment.
  • Training of RMs on selling and portfolio management for investments and Takaful products.
  • Liaise with internal stake holders, product providers and various other parties to ensure smooth processing of sales and prompt reply to client enquiries.
  • Provide support during initiatives aimed to cross-sell initiatives to increase investment within EI WB.
  • Drive initiatives to increase investment revenues and penetration in priority banking customers.
  • Manage and meet customers and develop investment proposals for large customers through profiling and model portfolios.
  • Training of RMs on compliance and risks.
  • Work closely with product team and various other stake holders to ensure smooth delivery of investment products.
  • Provide feedback to enhance platform through launch of profiling tools and build up on investment product list and plan.
  • Provide feedback and view on products and market overview to advise on decision on selection of investment products.

Role Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Senior Investment Advisor at Emirate Islamic Bank are as under:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in similar role.
