Job Description

This banquet supervisor gig at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers is a full-time floor job for a quick-thinking Arabic speaker who can run massive weddings and VIP dinners like clockwork. You’ll boss a crew of 20-30 waiters, check every table setting, make sure food hits the floor hot, and jump on any guest complaint before it blows up. Nights and weekends are the game. Pay runs AED 6,000-8,000 a month plus fat service charge and tips—ends up closer to AED 90,000-110,000 a year if you hustle. You need solid hotel banquet time, speak Arabic like a local, English clean, and prove you can lead without yelling. Responsibilities

  • Run full banquet service start to finish.
  • Brief crew, assign stations, check uniforms.
  • Walk the floor, fix problems on the spot.
  • Work 40 hours, mostly 3pm-midnight.
  • Push upsell on drinks and extras.
  • Count revenue, control waste.
  • Train new guys, do their reviews.
  • Keep fire exits clear, hygiene perfect.
  • Link kitchen and sales team.
  • Send daily report before you leave.

Requirements

Education

High school or hotel diploma.

Experience

2+ years running hotel banquets.

Qualifications

  • Native-level Arabic + good English.
  • UAE work rights.
