An exciting opportunity has been announced by Adidas for the job role of Senior Manager SCM Strategy & Projects in Dubai. The selected candidate will be responsible to develop SCM Strategy with initiatives to drive commercial growth, for an aggressively growing market like Emerging Markets. Also to creating single platform to govern supply chains projects across a large geography. Candidate will work hand in glove with colleagues across markets and global.

Responsibilities of Senior Manager SCM Strategy & Projects

Project Management: Create the roadmap/program for various projects within Emerging Market Supply Chain, driven by global, market (ANZ, SEA, India, MENA, CIS, IS, TR, SA) and clusters.

• Provide the PMO support as per the need and scope of the project.
• Channel Excellence: Work with channel partners to translate the commercial strategy into supply chain strategy.
• Develop a roadmap with initiatives across channels and clusters in line with the market strategy.
• Collaborate with NTP (Non-Trade Procurement) and Market Operations Leads to enable the strategy.
• Support tender projects to optimize costs and service levels and ensure selection is in the strategic direction of the organization.
• Collaborate with Global SCM and IT Delivery Hub to ensure system integrations with 3PL providers
• In-Cluster Support: Provide support to the cluster operations team, sharing ‘best practice’ knowledge and guidance.
• Collaborate with the market team to build and enable reports and insights.
• Work closely with local ‘in-cluster’ intelligentsia to gather and analyze data.
• Key Relationships: EM SCM leadership team, Cluster OBF, Cluster DC Operations Team, Product Supply.
• Channels: Retail, eCOM, Wholesale.
• Global Teams: Global Strategy Team, Tech teams.

Requirements for Role of Senior Manager SCM Strategy & Projects

• Bachelors in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience in SCM, preferred to have know-how of commercial operations and Project Management.
• 1-2 years of relevant project leadership/transformation experience in a global setting.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Broad & deep knowledge in various stages of supply chain, expertise in contract logistics, network modelling.
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues, managing risks and making effective decisions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Action-oriented and solution-minded team player with high degree of self-management.
