Job Description

The DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences is looking for full-time Waiter/Waitress to light up their bars and restaurants in Dubai’s buzzing heart. As a Waiter/Waitress you’ll earn AED 14.00 to AED 17.00 per hour (based on AED 2,500–3,000/month for a 40-hour week), serving cocktails by the Burj Al Arab skyline or plates of pasta to families near Dubai Mall. You need customer service experience, a friendly vibe, and the ability to keep cool when the dinner rush hits. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a big smile, serving drinks like a mojito with a view of Sheikh Zayed Road.
  • Suggest menu specials, like pairing a dessert with a cappuccino to boost sales.
  • Keep tables sparkling, clearing plates or wiping crumbs during a busy brunch.
  • Know the menu cold, from vegan starters to craft cocktails, to answer questions fast.
  • Mix drinks to recipe, ensuring every martini’s as perfect as the last.
  • Hustle through packed shifts, balancing orders for a wedding party of 50.
  • Stick to hygiene rules, sanitizing surfaces to keep things spotless.
  • Chat up guests to push high-margin items, like a bottle of wine with dinner.
  • Sort out mix-ups, like swapping a wrong dish with a quick apology.
  • Restock bar supplies, from napkins to lime wedges, during downtime.
  • Train with the crew to master drink prep and service flow.
  • Follow Hilton’s safety rules, like fire protocols, to a T.
  • Pitch in for big events, like a gala in the M Square ballroom.
  • Hit monthly profit goals by upselling premium drinks or dishes.
  • Make every guest feel like a VIP, from tourists to local regulars.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or something similar is a plus.

Experience

Customer service experience, ideally in a supervisory or similar role.

Skills

  • Warm and chatty to make guests feel right at home.
  • Great communicator for taking orders and suggesting extras.
  • Cool-headed when the bar’s buzzing or events get hectic.
  • Team player who vibes with cooks, bartenders, and servers.
  • Fit for standing and moving through long, lively shifts.

Knowledge

  • Basics of high-end food and drink service.
  • Know-how of bar recipes and presentation standards.
