Job Description

Atlantis Resorts on the Palm Jumeirah is hiring a full-time Logistics Driver to keep their operations humming. You’ll pocket around AED 3,500 to AED 4,000 a month, depending on your driving chops. Picture yourself dropping off fresh seafood to a celebrity chef’s kitchen or picking up guest documents from a downtown office, all while keeping your truck in tip-top shape.As a driver you’ll need a valid UAE driver’s license and a high school diploma. Logistics Driver

Responsibilities

  • Haul goods like crates of veggies or linens to outlets across The Palm.
  • Load up boxes of wine or stacks of towels, unloading them carefully at restaurants.
  • Jot down every trip, like a run to Atlantis, The Royal, in a daily logbook.
  • Swing by downtown Dubai to grab supplies or papers for hotel departments.
  • Keep your truck sparkling, hosing it down after a dusty desert drive.
  • Drive smart, buckling up and sticking to speed limits on Sheikh Zayed Road.
  • Check your vehicle daily for stuff like low oil or a shaky tire.
  • Call in maintenance issues, like a squeaky brake, to your boss right away.
  • Stay tight with the logistics crew, jumping on last-minute runs when needed.
  • Rock safety gear, like gloves, when handling heavy cargo.
  • Help out with truck upkeep, topping off fuel or checking wipers.
  • Spot road hazards, like construction near Dubai Marina, and report them.
  • Let the team know if traffic or a sandstorm slows you down.
  • Fill out delivery slips clean and correct before heading home.
  • Pitch in on extra tasks, like moving guest bags during a busy check-in.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or something similar.

Experience

2 years UAE driving experience; logistics or hotel work is a bonus.

Skills

  • Chatty and polite for dealing with staff and suppliers.
  • Organized to juggle routes and keep logs straight.
  • Strong enough to lift heavy boxes or crates.
  • Reliable with a valid UAE driver’s license.
  • Quick to spot and fix small issues, like a loose load.
  • Professional even when the schedule gets hectic.

Knowledge

  • Basics of keeping a truck road-ready.
  • Know your way around Dubai’s streets, from Jumeirah to Deira.
  • Sense of safe driving in busy or tricky conditions.
  • Familiar with handling goods for hotels or restaurants.
  • Insight into logging trips and deliveries.
  • Understanding of guest-focused service.
