Storekeeper

Responsibilities

  • Run store operations to match ALEC’s rules.
  • Keep things safe and up to environmental standards.
  • Plan storage layouts for stock size and safety.
  • Guide the team on handling and storing materials.
  • Fix any storage or issuance snags fast.
  • Set up and run stock counts regularly.
  • Dig into item histories to sort out inventory mismatches.
  • Tweak store processes to make things smoother.
  • Sync with other stores to manage extra stock.
  • Stick to budget limits for the project.
  • Fire off purchase requisitions for approval.
  • Keep inventory systems accurate and current.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Gulf contracting experience; know-how of construction supplies.

Skills
