Join BFL Group as a skilled IT Support Assistant who will be responsible to provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software and network-related issues. Candidate will also respond to IT support tickets promptly and efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Responsibilities of IT Support Assistant
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and handheld devices, WIFI etc.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
- Switch configuration and trouble shooting.
- Support the roll-out of new applications.
- Set up new user accounts and profiles.
- Conducting electrical safety checks on equipment.
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
- Manage Backups, Email systems and Licensing renewals.
- Manage/Troubleshoot MS Teams, Office365, GMAIL, VPN and Remote Connectivity.
- Perform any other support related duty as assigned by the higher authorities.
Requirements for Role of IT Support Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years experience in handling Windows Server, Network Firewalls , access points.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
