Job Title

Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Run the show on receiving, checking plastic granules or chemicals against order sheets.
  • Sort stock like polymers in the right bays, sticking to FIFO for export prep.
  • Push the team to load trucks on time, keeping deliveries to Jebel Ali port smooth.
  • Track inventory with ERP tools, catching low stock before it stalls orders.
  • Train warehouse hands on safe chemical handling, boosting their speed and care.
  • Stick to JAFZA’s import/export rules, ensuring all paperwork’s spot-on.
  • Link up with sales or procurement to match stock with client demands.
  • Spot slow zones, like cluttered aisles, and tweak workflows to save time.
  • Check forklifts and racks daily, flagging fixes to avoid gear breakdowns.
  • Sort out issues fast, like mismatched shipments, to keep clients happy.
  • Lead safety checks, like spill drills, to protect the crew in chemical zones.
  • Crunch numbers for monthly reports on stock accuracy or delivery times.
  • Jump in during peak seasons, like Dubai’s trade surges, to manage extra loads.

Requirements

Education

 Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, or a related field required.

Experience

10 years minimum in warehouse ops, with 5+ years leading teams, preferably in chemicals or plastics.

Skills

  • Strong leader who keeps the crew focused during long, busy shifts.
  • Organized to balance stock counts, schedules, and last-minute orders.
  • Quick on feet to fix snags, like delayed trucks or wrong pallets.
