Job Description
Dnata scouts a rugged Zipline Operator to steer thrill rides through Dubai’s dunes and wadis, keeping tourists zipped safe and stoked amid the UAE’s wild sprawl. This full-time on-site hustle demands a steady hand for daily checks, harness hooks, and convoy leads, all while dodging sand snags and weather whacks. Monthly pay clocks in at 4,000 to 6,000 AED, bumped by your rope runs and how you rally the rig without a rattle. You’ll huddle with the safari boss on bookings and briefs, tweaking ops to top guest grins, from vehicle vibes to zipline zings. It’s the call for desert dogs with two-plus years clipping cables or high-wire hustles, a dash of car smarts, and a grip on local lore – think flora, fauna, and first-aid flicks. No cubicle; it’s boots in the blister, solo shifts or squad syncs, logging miles and mishaps to keep the camps crisp.
About Company
dnata dug in back in 1959 as Emirates’ ground crew, ballooning into a beast that bosses air ops at 130-plus spots across 34 lands and six continents – think cargo hauls, travel tweaks, and catering cranks for 40,000 hands strong. Under the Emirates umbrella, it’s the unsung spine of skies, from Dubai’s tarmac to global gates, chasing safe, slick services that keep jets juiced and bags bounced right. Growth’s the grit, snagging awards for the grind while betting on bold brains to bend the benchmarks. Arabian Adventures slots in as the adventure arm, slinging safari spins and zipline zaps through UAE’s red runs, blending bedouin beats with modern thrills for tourists who chase the edge.
Job Title
Zipline Operator
Responsibilities
- Huddle pre-dawn with the safari lead, mapping bookings and briefs to nail the day’s dash.
- Whip up and tweak the ops playbook, stuffing it with safety snaps, product plugs, and pinch plans.
- Chase guest gripes from the wire, digging deep and dishing fixes fast to flip the frown.
- Spot snags in the sand, rallying rigs and routes to roll without the rut or risk.
- Poke vehicles pre-pull, from tires to tanks, loading kits like flares and first-aid fists.
- Log every lap in the book, mileage ticks to maintenance memos that keep the fleet fleet.
- Scrub gear spotless before the blast, from bags to beds for overnight oasis outs.
- Pump the AA vibe with fresh twists, turning storms to stories that stick the standard.
- Run zipline rituals raw – harness hunts, cable cranks, and audit all-overs for the zip.
- Lead convoys cool through wadis, eyes on strays and sips to keep the crowd comfy.
- Flag fixes on the fly, from frayed ropes to flat spares, looping leads without the lag.
- Train tail-enders on the ties, clipping clips and crisis calls to build the bold.
- Wrap runs with a rundown, tallying takes and tweaks for the tomorrow’s turn.
- Flex for the flux, jumping jeeps or jumps when the herd heats or the heat hits.
- Eye the extras, like eco nods or event edges, pitching plays to punch the thrill.
