Retailing industry is looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to join their company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating logistics operations and ensuring the efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
Responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator
The following are the duties for the job holder.
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to arrange shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Track and trace shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on the status of their shipments and address any concerns.
Requirements of Logistics Coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in logistics coordination.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
