Job Description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen at Dubai Municipality for suitably qualified & experienced candidate for the role of Agricultural Engineer. This vacancy was announced by municipality’s career page on 23 January 2024. Desirous candidates fulfilling the under mentioned criteria should hurriedly submit their applications.

Responsibilities of Agricultural Engineer

  • Identifying suitable places for planting the required types and quantities of flowers.
  • Planting flowers according to the approved designs and monitoring their growth.
  • Distributing the plants and agricultural maintenance requirements of organic and chemical fertilizers.
  • Implementing approved agricultural maintenance programs in accordance with the conditions, standards & specifications.
  • To ensure the efficiency of operation of the equipment, mechanisms and tools used in the work.
  • Recording traffic accidents affecting cultivated areas and recording damage.
  • Perform any other related task as assigned by higher authorities or which may fall within the scope of job duties.

Eligibility Criteria For Agricultural Engineer

  • Bachelors degree in agricultural engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience working in the same role.

Skills & Abilities Desired

  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Should know how to deal with the plant fertilizers with respect to type of plant.
  • Familiar with the handling of plant pesticides and herbicides.
