Job Description

Al Futtaim Group is actively seeking qualified and experienced individual to take on the role of a Freight Sales Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible in driving commercial growth of Freight Forwarding business by efficient management of strategic & field sales and Key Account Management (KAM) channels within UAE and support freight management in regional expansion, establishing Freight and Local Services within GCC locations where organization intends to start operation.

Duties of Freight Sales Manager

  • Manage & deliver sales budget set for the financial year.
  • Identify and develop new client base.
  • Develop strong presence of AFL amongst Multinational Companies in UAE.
  • Liaise with other sales channels, including network partners, regarding customers of global potential.
  • Evaluate sales successes and failures to optimize efforts and identify issues.
  • Business development by value addition selling.
  • Retention of existing Customers.
  • Performance reporting.
  • Recruit and groom Sales Team for Strategic and Field Sales.
  • Capturing sales activities of self and team.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of Freight Sales Manager

The eligibility requirements for role of a Freight Sales Manager are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of extensive experience in KAM, Strategic & Field Sales Management in Freight Forwarding Industry.

Skills Desired

  • Commercial awareness about freight industry, products & services.
  • Commendable knowledge about Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Industry.
  • Commendable knowledge about Trade to/from UAE.
  • Good communication, Negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Expert in MS office.
  • Ability to relate with people at any level.
  • Extensive Knowledge of International freight forwarding, market and trade.
  • Strong communication, Negotiation & presentation skills.
  • Proactive and Innovative.
