Responsibilities
- Run daily front office operations smoothly and efficiently
- Hold team briefings before shifts and keep communication clear
- Monitor team attendance, grooming, and professionalism
- Follow up on guest feedback, especially from VIPs and long-stay guests
- Coordinate closely with housekeeping and reservations on room status
- Track room inventory and adjust based on arrivals and departures
- Handle overbooked situations and plan relocations if needed
- Make sure guest concerns are resolved without delay
- Help the team focus on upselling to maximize room revenue
- Work with finance to ensure billing and credit procedures are followed
- Review shift reports and log entries to track any major issues
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field preferred
Experience
1 to 2 years in a hotel front office supervisory or manager role
Skills
- Confident leading teams and managing busy shifts
- Familiar with Opera PMS and basic reporting tools
- Great at solving problems quickly and calmly
- Clear and professional communication style
- Organized, especially when handling schedules and guest logistics
Knowledge
- Front office systems and guest check-in/check-out flow
- How to handle overbooked or high-volume days
- Billing procedures and coordination with finance teams
- VIP guest expectations and room categorization
- Training new hires and maintaining service standards
