Job Title
Lab Supervisor – Software & Computer Science Programs
Responsibilities
- Guide students during lab classes—help them understand what to do and how to do it
- Set up systems, tools, and software before each session
- Work closely with course instructors to keep the labs in sync with what’s being taught
- Check student work or help with grading when needed
- Be available for extra student support sessions when scheduled
- Tidy up labs and keep equipment in working order
- Help with program updates or feedback for curriculum improvements
- Be part of departmental tasks like reporting or helping with accreditation steps
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or something similar
Experience
- Prior teaching or lab experience in a university or college helps
- You should know your way around academic labs and student setups
Skills
- Solid communication in English
- Comfort with lab tools, programming basics, and troubleshooting
- Able to multitask without getting flustered
- Friendly with students and faculty
- Willing to learn and keep up with new tech as it comes
