Job Description

GMG is now looking for a Stock Assurance Supervisor post headquartered in Dubai. This full -time role is suitable for someone with a good eye for practical history and storage in stock operations. The role includes supervising the daily share, validation of items and ensuring steady cooperation between retail and supply chain teams. The situation requires flexibility with a shift plan, especially night time and current journey as needed. Success in this profession requires a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and solid communication skills.

Job Title

Stock Assurance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily stock counting routines across designated locations.
  • Monitor inventory systems for discrepancies and reconcile physical stock.
  • Coordinate with store and warehouse teams for accurate inventory records.
  • Handle documentation and reporting related to count activities.
  • Lead the audit process and support team members during stock checks.
  • Finalize reports and ensure approval within set deadlines.
  • Investigate quantity differences and resolve system mismatches.
  • Maintain consistent records of communications, sign-offs, and audit feedback.
  • Conduct recounts as needed to ensure data reliability.
  • Train junior staff involved in inventory activities.
  • Track progress of assigned tasks and report on completion timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for audit and reporting needs.
  • Travel to various warehouses or store locations when required.
  • Adjust workflows to improve overall accuracy and reduce stock issues.
  • Maintain discipline in team scheduling and time management.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

A diploma or degree in business, supply chain, or logistics is preferred.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory supervision.

Skills

  • Confident using Excel and other basic inventory software.
  • Comfortable managing a small team during audits.
  • Able to communicate clearly with internal teams.
  • Capable of working under deadlines and solving problems efficiently.
  • Organized and able to maintain records with precision.

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with warehouse layout and item tracking procedures
  • Awareness of audit protocols and stock documentation
  • Understanding of standard logistics operations
  • Ability to read and interpret inventory data and reports
  • Knowledge of reconciliation methods and stock loss prevention
  • Awareness of safety and handling practices during counts

This is an onsite position based in Dubai. Travel to other branches or facilities may be required.
