Job Description

Someone who likes spending time with children and can keep them occupied in a fun, safe environment is needed at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa. Based in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, this position is full-time. Making sure kids are at ease when they play, create crafts, or participate in group activities is the main responsibility of the position. Although the events are prearranged, it is beneficial if the individual in this position contributes their own enthusiasm and thoughts. Someone who is kind, patient, and experienced with small children would be a wonderful fit. You’ll probably fit in fast if you have prior childcare experience and are fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Watch over children in the Kids Club or play area
  • Set up toys and games, keeping the space safe and tidy
  • Run planned activities like crafts, games, or story sessions
  • Make sure all equipment is clean and well-kept
  • Flag any broken toys or safety issues to the recreation team
  • Follow a weekly and monthly activity schedule
  • Stick to all safety and health rules, especially around children
  • Be ready to answer parent questions about the club
  • Keep a happy and relaxed vibe in the space
  • Work well with others on the recreation team
  • Help out during busy periods or special resort events
  • Act quickly and calmly if a child needs help
  • Make sure the club’s policies are followed at all times
  • Stay informed about the resort’s family services and offers

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • High school certificate required
  • Formal childcare training or diploma preferred

Experience

  • Those new to the field but great with children may also apply
