Job Title

Forklift Driver

Responsibilities

  • Utilize forklift equipment to move, load, and unload cargo.
  • Perform equipment inspections both before to and following usage.
  • Help warehouse employees arrange and store goods.
  • Observe all safety precautions and on-site procedures.
  • Document daily movements and maintain logs accurately.
  • Move pallets and containers without causing damage to products or racking.
  • Communicate with team members for task coordination.
  • Help with periodic inventory checks.
  • Participate in training sessions and toolbox talks.
  • Spot and report any operational issues or hazards.
  • Support warehouse activities during peak hours.
  • Ensure that forklift paths are clear and safe.
  • Understand basic layout maps for storage and delivery zones.
  • Handle occasional lifting of goods when necessary.
  • Manage deadlines without compromising on safety.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse or factory settings

Skills
