Job Description

There’s an opportunity at Mind Base Education for an AI Teacher. It’s part-time, based in Abu Dhabi. Not a remote role. You’ll work directly with students, in-person, introducing them to AI topics in a simple and structured way. The position needs someone who understands both education and the basics of artificial intelligence. It’s not about being an expert in coding — it’s about being able to explain, guide, and connect. Flexible hours apply. Must be comfortable working with learners of different levels. A Bachelor’s degree is expected. If you’ve worked with young people or in a school environment before, that’s a bonus. People who enjoy hands-on teaching, not just theory, tend to thrive in this role. Responsibilities

  • Teach young learners the basics of AI through guided lessons.
  • Break down complex topics into easy, age-appropriate formats.
  • Use tools or examples that help students connect with AI.
  • Keep track of student progress and share updates with management.
  • Offer support when students are stuck or need extra help.
  • Be available for classroom hours as scheduled by the team.
  • Provide simple post-lesson notes or summaries.
  • Attend internal training or prep sessions if scheduled.
  • Communicate with parents when needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

A Bachelor’s degree is required. It can be in Education, Computer Science, or something related.

Experience

At least 1 year of teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience. Doesn’t have to be AI-specific — just enough to show you know how to teach.

Skills

  • Able to create lesson plans without relying on templates
  • Good listener, patient with young students
  • Basic tech handling (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
  • Can explain AI in real-world examples
  • Comfortable adjusting style based on student feedback
  • Clear communicator

Knowledge

  • What AI is and how it works in simple terms
  • Awareness of tools like ChatGPT or Scratch AI
  • General classroom management
  • Education trends in UAE
  • Digital tools for student engagement
  • Creating learning progress reports
