Job Description

There’s an Housekeeper  job opening at Rosewood Abu Dhabi for someone to take on full-time housekeeping work. It’s a proper hotel role not something you do part-time or from home. As a housekeeper  you will work on the hands, clean the guest room, change linen, dry everything, check under the bed and make sure that for some, rooms are quite good for someone to go without detecting a single specification. You will do everything from garbage rooms to beds to look fresh every single day. If something is broken or missing, you must notice it and let the right people tell.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be cleaning rooms daily making beds, replacing towels, wiping down mirrors, and spraying air freshener so it smells right.
  • Bathrooms need to be spotless.
  • Sometimes a guest leaves a mess.
  • Sometimes they leave in a hurry.
  • You’ve got to make that room guest-ready again fast, and properly.
  • You’ll carry a cart with everything you need, go from room to room, and update the sheet once you’re done.
  • It’s important that nothing gets missed.
  • If you see damage, report it. If something’s missing, note it.
  • Keep everything tidy and leave the room looking like no one was there before.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

A high school certificate is required.

Experience

If you’ve worked in hotel cleaning before, that’s a plus. But it’s not mandatory. As long as you’re fast, neat, and able to follow instructions, you’ll do fine.

Skills

You’ll need to be comfortable staying on your feet during your shift. That includes lifting, walking, reaching, and bending it’s physical work, not desk work. Being able to stay organized and finish tasks without constant reminders is important too.

Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of cleaning tasks in a hotel.
  • Knowing how to follow room preparation steps.
  • Being polite and respectful with guests.
  • Spotting when something in a room isn’t right.
  • Following supervisor instructions accurately
  • Handling tools and products safely (even if basic).
