Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, filling holes or removing old paint and wallpaper.
- Mix and match paint colors according to specifications and design preferences.
- Apply primers, basic coats and finishing coats with brush, rolls or spray equipment.
- Distribute consistent, smooth and high quality finish on different surfaces, including walls, ceilings, metals and concrete.
- Make decorative finish such as texture, unclean effect or stenciling as needed.
- Observe the entire quality work, ensure no drip, bubbles or uneven coverage.
- Maintenance Tools, brushes and work areas in a clean and organized way.
- Follow all safety rules in the workplace, especially when using dangerous materials or working with heights.
- Collaborate with supervisors, foremans and other industries to complete the projects on time.
- Exactly recorded materials are used, time used and treated for each job.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to remove project requirements or concerns.
- Adapt painting methods and materials to meet the challenges that
- arise from high temperatures and environmental conditions in Dubai.
- Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training in painting or surface finishing preferred Safety certification related to handling paints and chemicals is a plus.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years professional painting experience.
- Capacity in surface preparation techniques for wood, metal, concrete and plaster.
- Effective when using brush, rolls, syringes and other paint tools.
- Knowledge of color theory and paint mixture and matching techniques.
- Familiar with different types of paint, coating and proper application.
- Rotates to read and understand technical images and paint specifications.
- Ability to work in physical stamina
- Excellent attention on expansion and time management.
- Ability to estimate the paint volume and physical requirements.
- Good teamwork and communication capacity.
- Desire to work in high temperature and other challenging weather conditions.
- Valid UAE driver’s license preferred (for mobility between sites)
