Key Responsibilities of the Reach Truck Driver

  • Drive and control a reach truck safely inside the warehouse.
  • Move goods to and from shelves, loading docks, and storage areas.
  • Stack and unstack heavy boxes and pallets on high shelves.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks carefully to avoid damage.
  • Help keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Check the reach truck every day and report any problems.
  • Follow all safety rules and warehouse guidelines.
  • Use scanners or simple tools to track items in the system.
  • Work with team members and supervisors to finish daily tasks.

Requirements for the Reach Truck Driver Role

  • Must-Have Skills
  • Valid UAE driving license (Category 4 or 7) for reach truck or forklift.
  • Reach truck operator certification with proven experience.
  • At least 1–2 years of work in a warehouse or similar job.
  • Good knowledge of safety rules in a warehouse.
  • Able to lift, move, and carry heavy items.
  • Can follow instructions and work well in a team.
  • Basic English for reading signs and safety messages.
  • Ready to join immediately or with short notice.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience using RF scanners or simple inventory tools.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling items.
  • Good communication with team members.
  • Own visa is a plus for some roles.
