Job Description

Gulf Marketing Group (GMG) is hiring a Fishmonger to join their team in Abu Dhabi. You will clean, cut, and prepare seafood, help customers, and keep the area clean. You will display products attractively, rotate stock to maintain freshness, inspect for quality and proper labeling, and dispose of expired items. The role also includes providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the Fishery section.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, cut, fillet, and prepare seafood
  • Make sure all seafood is fresh and of good quality
  • Set up and maintain displays
  • Remove expired or damaged items
  • Help customers choose and prepare their seafood
  • Keep the work area clean and follow hygiene rules
  • Help with inventory and stock rotation

Requirements

  • Experience as a fishmonger or in seafood preparation
  • Knowledge of different fish and cutting methods
  • Good customer service skills
  • Able to follow hygiene and safety rules
  • Can lift and handle seafood and equipment
