Job Description

EFS Facilities Services is hiring an experienced MHE Technician – Conveyor Systems in Dubai. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of conveyor systems and mechanical material handling equipment (MHE). This role is crucial to minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations.

Location and Work Type

  • Location: Dubai, UAE
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Day and Night)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on conveyor belts and mechanical equipment.
  • Fix issues with motors, rollers, bearings, and gearboxes.
  • Reduce equipment downtime and keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
  • Read and understand mechanical blueprints and manuals.
  • Replace faulty wiring, sensors, relays, and control panels.
  • Use electrical diagrams and tools to find and fix problems.
  • Support maintenance of PLC-based automation systems.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance work.

Requirements

  • A diploma or certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Able to handle and move heavy equipment.
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining conveyors and material handling systems.
  • 3+ years of electrical troubleshooting in industrial environments.
  • Experience leading or supervising maintenance teams.
  • Can read and use technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
  • Comfortable using computer systems to log and track maintenance

  • Monthly Salary: AED 4,000
