Job Description

The driver role (Light Bus, Heavy Bus – Construction Industry) at Habshan Contracting LLC involves the safe transportation of personnel and materials across construction sites in Dubai.   • Shift: Day shift, with overtime possible

Key Responsibilities of a Driver

  • Operate light vehicles, light buses, and heavy buses for transporting personnel and equipment
  • Follow UAE traffic laws and maintain a spotless driving record
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues
  • Communicate with supervisors to coordinate daily transport schedules
  • Keep assigned vehicles clean and compliant with safety protocols
  • Assist with site logistics when needed
  • Accurately document trip logs and overtime

Requirements for the Driver role

  • Must-Have: Valid UAE driver’s license (Category 3, 5, and 6)
  • 5+ years of driving experience in UAE construction or logistics
  • Safe driving habits with no traffic violations
  • Good understanding of UAE roads and traffic rules
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in construction environments
  • Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools
  • Knowledge of construction site safety
  • Basic vehicle troubleshooting/maintenance skills
  • Arabic or Hindi language skills
