Job Description

Emirates Logistics LLC is hiring a Switch Gear Electrician to join their team in Dubai. In this role, you will handle the installation, testing, and maintenance of LV/MV/HV switch gear panels. Specifically, you’ll work on industrial and utility projects, ensuring compliance with UAE and international standards. This hands-on role reports to the Electrical Supervisor and plays a critical part in delivering safe, high-quality electrical systems.

Location & Work Type

  • Location: Dubai, UAE 
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Shift: Standard day shift, occasional overtime

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and wire LV/MV/HV switch gear panels
  • Maintain and repair switch gear equipment
  • Troubleshoot faults and test with diagnostic tools
  • Work with protection relays (ABB, Siemens, Schneider, etc.)
  • Read and follow electrical schematics
  • Meet compliance standards (e.g., DEWA, ADNOC, IEC)
  • Keep records of maintenance and testing

Requirements

  • Must-Have: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of experience with LV/MV/HV switch gear
  • Familiarity with ABB, Siemens, GE, Schneider products
  • Knowledge of protection relays, CTs, VTs, and busbars
  • Understanding of UAE utility standards
  • Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Nice-to-Have: Certifications in electrical safety or relay testing
  • Experience with diagnostic tools or test software
  • Worked on ADNOC or DEWA projects
  • Arabic language skills
