Responsibilities of Senior Manager ICFR

• Develop a plan for continuous monitoring and evaluation of ICFR.
• Liaise with various departments to understand the existing controls in the bank.
• Design testing of controls for ICFR
• Report key observation and finding with regards to ICFR
• Remediate plan for failed controls.
• Maintain a dashboard for all failed ICFR controls.
• Coordinate the testing of controls by external reviewer for gap assessment and external auditor report.
• Maintain a dashboard for all failed controls identified by external reviewer or auditor.
• Communicate the failed controls to various department identified by external reviewer or auditor.
• Design remediation plan for failed controls and follow up with responsible departments to ensure swift remediation.
• Identify compensating controls for controls that failed the testing and are not remediated by the end of the reporting period

Requirements of Senior Manager ICFR

• Commerce background (Graduate / Post graduate) with specialization in Accountancy.
• Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) / Semi-Qualified Accountant.
• Prior work experience of 10+ years.
• Demonstrable experience in implementing Internal Control over Financial Reporting.
